          In 1995, he obtained a BFA from the Government College of Arts in Chennai, specialising in printmaking. He continued his studies at the Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop (EPW) and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, focusing on prints and paintings.

          He resided at the MacDowell Colony in Massachusetts in the early 2000s and eventually transitioned towards sculpture and installation work.[1][2]
