Rick Williams is an American anchor/reporter working for Action News since joining the station in He is a co-anchor of the news at 5 PM and 10 PM.
Williams also reports for Action News&#; weekly &#;Crimefighters&#; series.
Previously, he co-anchored Action News Mornings, helping to create a dominant early morning program alongside Cecily Tynan and Monica Malpass.
Before 6abc, Williams worked at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to that, he was in Huntington, West Virginia, and Washington D.C., where he attended college at Howard University as well as working in radio.
Although born in New York, Williams considers himself a true Philadelphian and has spent most of his time off helping to uplift the community and inspire young people in their academic endeavors.
