Appointment of Chair of Advisory Committee on Business Appointments
The Prime Minister has appointed Baroness Angela Browning as the new Chair of the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (ACoBA).
The appointment will be for a single non-renewable term of 5 years, and will be effective from 1 January 2015.
Baroness Browning will take over from Sir Hugh Stevenson, who has been Interim Chair of the Advisory Committee since April 2014.
The Prime Minister is very grateful to Sir Hugh for stepping in to lead the Committee during this interim period.
