          Jonathan Renner is an associate justice on the Third District Court of Appeal in California.

          He was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on July 25, 2014, to fill the vacancy created when Tani Cantil-Sakauye was nominated to the supreme court. Renner was confirmed by the California Commission on Judicial Appointments on August 28, 2014.[1][2] He was retained by voters in November 2014, winning a new term that expires on January 3, 2027.[3]
